Scooter Wheels
Pro Scooter wheels typically come in 3 different diameters:
Check your scooter forks before choosing larger wheels as not all forks will take 110 or 120mm wheels. More complete scooters are now coming with larger 120mm wheels however you still need to double check what is compatible with your scooter deck and forks before buying your new wheels.
All wheels are made of solid urethane. The hardness of the urethane is indicated by the Durometer rating, for example "88A". The higher the Durometer rating, the harder the urethane. Softer urethane gives the wheel more grip, while harder urethane provides more speed.
Most wheels are sold as a set and include bearings (please read the product description for details).
All scooter wheel manufacturers have similar warranties, they will usually come with a 90 day manufacturer’s warranty.
This will typically cover:
De-hubbing of the PU tyre from the wheel core,
- Ovalising the hub bearing housing
It will not cover:
- Chunking of the wheel: Chunking is when the wheel PU breaks off in pieces, typically caused by riding on rough surfaces. Wheel bearingsApparent external damage or wilful damage, misuse or incorrect installation
Warranties on scooter wheels can only be processed if you have a proof of purchase so be sure to keep a copy of your receipt.
